(PEC) is an award-winning engineering, planning and surveying firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida with additional offices in Tampa, Deland, Port Richey, Lake City, and Atlanta, Georgia. 1983, PEC acquired the Lake City based firm of W.K. Daugherty
Consulting Engineers, a then 29-year old consulting firm with
extensive statewide experience in highway and bridge design. Therefore,
our merged organization benefits from 50 years of experience in
successfully providing infrastructure engineering services to
governmental entities, and is a recognized leader in the planning,
design, permitting, and construction administration of new and
existing roadways and bridges; drainage and stormwater management
systems; water, wastewater and reuse systems; and related improvements
for governmental entities.It is noted and emphasized that all of the Principals of PEC are full-time engineering, planning and surveying professionals who are fully involved in the “hands-on” day-to-day provision of planning, engineering, construction administration, and surveying services to our clients on each and every one of our assigned projects. Our full-time in-house Director of Finance, Administration and Human Resources is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and his comprehensive role in the firm’s administrative, personnel and related business issues allows our firm’s Principals to concentrate on full-time client service. PEC has continually refined its expertise to include a mix of specialized services. PEC has maintained its expertise in these service areas by monitoring and implementing the latest in engineering and surveying technology. This has created a very productive work environment which is directly beneficial to our clients.
