Our Survey and Mapping Department understands that precise and accurate measurements are the foundation for every design engineering project. Through consistent use of our platting, surveying and mapping capabilities combined with state-of-the-art programs, PEC delivers a variety of professional services. These services range is scope and complexity from residential builder's packages to mortgage surveys, to multi-thousand acre acquisition surveys to engineering design surveys for multi-lane highways to record platting of regional malls and DRIs. We have been successful in platting tens of thousands of residential lots for new developments, performing design and right-of-way surveying for city and county roadways, and major interstate highway projects. PEC has also been   responsible for all surveying related to several regional malls and shopping centers.

 

In addition, PEC has developed and implemented an aggressive “Team Approach”in its Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Program centered around five key elements. These elements are Direct Principal Involvement, Detailed Project Approach Development, Maintenance/Adjustment Calibration of Field Equipment, Formal Production Control Procedures, and Peer Review.

 

To accommodate our engineers and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program, PEC uses the interacted mapping database called Geographic Information System (GIS). The PEC GIS team has over 15 years of continuous GIS development experience. The successful development of comprehensive GIS is accomplished by Florida licensed Surveyors and Mappers. Projects completed range in geographic size from several square miles to cover one/third of the area of the State of Florida. Those projects have been successfully completed for such clients at the South Florida Water Management District, the St. Johns River Water Management District, the Florida Inland navigation District, the Southwest Florida Water Management District and numerous counties and municipalities as well as smaller private projects.
