Our PEC Transportation Department represents a
technical team of engineers, designers and CADD operators who
provide extensive roadway and bridge design services. PEC maintains
its reputation by successfully completing transportation projects
for various municipalities, counties, expressway authorities,
and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). PEC has
continually ranked in the highest echelon of Florida firms in
the number and quality of roadway and bridge design projects.
Engineering services consists of corridor and alignment studies,
survey coordination, right-of-way mapping, construction plans
preparation, drainage, stormwater management, lighting design
coordination, traffic operations and construction administration
CEI services.
Branching out with its new regional office in Atlanta, Georgia, PEC’s Transportation Department is now fully pre-qualified by both the Florida Department of Transportation and the Georgia Department of Transportation. Our staff is experienced in designing all projects to meet the most current AASHTO standards, FDOT & GDOT standard specifications, FDOT current memorandum, FDOT & GDOT Plans Preparation Manual, FDOT & GDOT Drainage Manual, GDOT Plan Development Process, GDOT Manual of Guidance and Federal Highway Administration. Our engineers continue to prepare the plans and specifications for highways and bridges, as well as intersection improvements for existing roadways.
